Burr is one of the common phenomena in laser cutting machine processing. 1. Causes of burrs in sheet metal processing by laser cutting machine:

1. Air compressor must be equipped to cut with auxiliary gas.

Gas purity should be high, you can change to a better quality gas supplier. Gas purity is very important. It is better not to use cylinder gas, because after two fillings, the purity is not good and the gas is wasted.

For example, when laser cutting stainless steel, nitrogen is recommended as an auxiliary gas. Nitrogen is a flame-retardant gas. Nitrogen not only prevents the explosion point of laser cutting, but also prevents the heated end from instantaneous oxidation. The cutting end will be more smooth and bright. Auxiliary gas should be adjusted to 12-15 kg pressure. Nitrogen under this pressure will not completely prevent combustion, but also can quickly blow away the waste to remove burrs.
